Does Ruby Finch Bridal Artist Agency work with all skin tones, skin types and hair textures?

Our founder Patricia Wisdom (she/her) is a queer Honduran-American and completely understands this very valid question! It is important to us to have an ethnically diverse team to reflect and meet our couple’s Hair & Makeup needs. As Las Vegas is the wedding capital of the world, we work with couples from all over the world and we fully
embrace diversity!

Yes! We have a large team and work with large parties regularly. Once you confirm the amount of services, please contact us via email to secure your

Does Ruby Finch Bridal Artist Agency travel to destination weddings or travel out of state?

Yes! We LOVE destination weddings and will travel for photoshoots and other events. If you would like to book your destination wedding/event/photoshoot, please contact us directly at contactus@rubyfinchsalon.com to discuss specific details.

 I’m natural/minimal, I don’t want to mimic Instagram makeup

We also provide natural/minimal looks for brides. The key is providing inspirational photos with your desired look as well as communication with your artist during the appointment.

Is gratuity included in the pricing?

New bookings after May 1, 2022, a 20% gratuity is included on all bookings. This allows you to be fully present on your wedding day and relieves you from having to do any math on your wedding day. But, If you would like to provide additional tips for your artists at the appointment, you are more than welcome to spoil our artists and it is greatly appreciated!

How do I add on additional services?

The bride should email us here to add on additional services. Additional services requested require at least a 48 hour notice.

Should I book a trial? How does the trial work?

Trials aren’t mandatory, but they are always HIGHLY encouraged. Be prepared with Hair & Makeup inspiration photos as well as your hair accessories/veil if you are wearing one. Clean dry hair as well as freshly washed and moisturized skin. Please remember, trials are scheduled for 1 style per trial. If you would like to try multiple styles, you are encouraged to book
 multiple trials.

I don’t have Hair/Makeup inspo, help!

Please check out our Pinterest page and Instagram, you can scroll them for HMU inspo. Artistry is subjective, so the more communication, the better! Discuss what you specifically love in each photo. Art is subjective, so discuss what colors/styles work best for YOU and also ask yourself, do you love the inspiration’s Hair/Makeup or do you just love Hailey Beiber/Kim Kardashian/Addison Rae/JLo? (We love all four and their makeup!)

How much time should I give myself from when the appointment ends to when I need to arrive on location? 

We recommend at least an hour and a half between your end time to get dressed and travel to your next location. Assume everything in Las Vegas takes at least 30 minutes to get to, even if it’s the hotel next door or across the way. We know it may not look far, but between waiting for elevators, red lights and tourists, it’s going to take a bit
 of time.

How long does each service take?

We allow one hour of time for each bride’s hair and/or makeup service. We allow 45 minutes for each bridesmaid’s service. Subject to change for add on services like blowouts.

Are lashes included in my makeup appointment? 

Standard natural lashes are included in every makeup appointment.

What if I want airbrush makeup?

Airbrush can be added on for an additional $25 by pre-booking this at the time of your inquiry.

*NOTE: Airbrush is not always recommended as we live in the desert and the heat is not ideal for airbrush.

Are touch up services included? 

Light touch ups are available immediately after services are complete at the prep location only if needed. Artists can be available for on location touch ups or at the venue at the rate of $100 per hour per artist plus any additional parking fees that may occur.

Ok I’ve paid my retainer, when do I pay my remaining balance? 

Your remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event. You will receive two reminders before your payment is due and then the day of, you will receive an invoice with your payment link attached. The reminders and invoice will all come from our CRM system Dubsado, so check your spam inbox.

How should I prep for my appointment?

Please go into your hair and makeup appointment with inspiration pictures ready, this will save time during your appointment. If you are receiving hair services, please make sure your hair is thoroughly washed the night before and fully dried before your artist arrives. There is a $30 blow dry fee if an artist has to dry your hair.
(Only exception is if you pre booked your blowout, then please have your hair freshly washed and damp before your artist arrives.) Before the artist arrives, please have a table space cleared off. If it’s day time, window light is preferred and highly appreciated!

Is there a late/cancellation fee?

If a client is more than 15 mins late to their appointment, their appointment is canceled. Artists are booked out per hour and not available for late or delayed starts.
All payments are non-refundable.
